The party was at the Westbank Yacht Club. It is an actual boat they use for special events. It was a casual get together with a light lunch and coffee. Auntie Bev brought her scrapbook of their lives with lots of photos from years ago. I took pictures of some of them. They also had a slideshow and a photo album. Their wedding picture was on their anniversary cake ... the cake was delicious. Auntie Bev and Uncle Don looked good. It was nice to see everyone again and to meet up with Angie. I took a few pictures with the phone and the rest are on the camera.
The event ended at 4:00 and then the cousins went to the Golf Course for a drink. We talked about setting up a way to share all the family pictures and stories with everyone. We will brainstorm and keep in touch with Kim. Graham showed us the ring that belonged to Grandpa Joe ... quite a story behind that ring.
We said our final Goodbyes as we are starting our trek home tomorrow.
