Sunday afternoon

Driving to Canmore in our car ... so much easier to get around. On the way we stopped to see the Hoodoos and the scenery of the Bow River with the Banff Springs Hotel at the end. If you zoom into the pictures you will see people on rafts. Would like to do that next time.

In Canmore we stopped for some Roasted apple and parsnip soup ... very good. Keith had coffee and I had a London Fog. Walked the downtown area and browsed in the stores. Found a perfect mug for Keith. Walked down a beautiful path along the water to Spring Creek. It is gorgeous there. People live in the condos and also rent them out as vacation homes. Saw where the Spring Creek campground is ... May stay there next time. Was a very nice relaxing walk. Drove to the Iron Goat for supper. Shared a delicious pizza. Got coffee at Tim’s and headed back to Banff. Drove through the townsite quickly to check out parking for tomorrow.

It wasn’t a sunny day but still very pleasant out. Was nice to see a bit more of Canmore. Tomorrow we will tour Banff and head to radium hot springs.
