Sunday morning

Great way to start the day with a FaceTime call from Kristie and the girls. It’s 9 degrees here and starting to rain ... a bit gloomy. It’s 10:20 and we are heading to Banff. Having trouble deciding whether to stay the night in Canmore or Banff but we decided to head to Banff and drive back to Canmore with the car.

The countryside is beautiful with the fall colours and rolling hills. Lots of traffic. Stopped for gas - $146.00. Decided to stop in Canmore quickly to make sure we could get a spot in Banff and we got the last site! Waited in line for about 15 minutes to register ... busy here. Saw an RV just like ours and took a picture. We are in the trailer campground that is great for RVs. Lots of room with the car and level. Full service. Too bad we are only here one night. Nice fresh mountain air. It’s 9 going up to 13. The sun is slowly starting to poke through. Heading to Canmore in our car once we are setup.
