Saturday adventures

We actually set an alarm this morning for 7:30. We stopped at Bliss Bakery for a muffin and coffee. It is cloudy out but very pleasant. Taking a drive to Penticton to visit Nancy and Jim. The drive is gorgeous along the water. Nancy and Jim live in paradise in Penticton. Gorgeous home with a pool on the upper level overlooking the mountains. Nancy took us to the Farmers Market downtown. There are so many vendors with lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, baking and all sorts of wares. It is a beautiful downtown area. We bought some fresh peaches and plums ... tasty. Then we went for a drive to see the beaches. Went back to Nancy and Jim’s and had such a wonderful time talking along with a delicious lunch. The sun came out for a bit and it was hot.

Went to Auntie Bev’s and Uncle Don’s for supper. Dory made a delicious lasagna with garlic bread and salad. Auntie Bev bought a fresh peach pie from the church ... so good. All of their kids were there ... was nice to see them all again and get caught up on life. Graham and Destiny brought their little Yorkie, Fletcher. Kristie FaceTimed with the girls so everyone got to see them.

When we got back we had a cup of tea and played Golf.
